Armchair drive increased profits at Airport car park

Coventry Airport is a busy regional airport providing scheduled and chartered flights to destinations throughout Europe. Enhanced by a telephone reservation facility, demand for spaces in its onsite car park was high. However, with callers to an overstretched phone set up having to wait 15 minutes to speak to an operator, demand was not as high as it could and should be.

Concerned about lost revenue, the Airport called in Armchair. Not just to answer the phone in no more than 3 rings but to take the bookings too.

Our receptionists now provide a complete booking fulfilment for the Airport's car park. They take bookings or amend them, process orders and, with all the information required on their computer screens, answer customers' queries.

Result? An increase in customer satisfaction and a take-off in bookings made.
